Function
Keratex Hoof Shield is a clear varnish, designed to adhere strongly onto the hoof, enhancing its appearance and conferring considerable extra strength to the external surface.
How It Works
This product is a plasticized nitrocellulose clear varnish, formulated to dry very rapidly on the hoof. It penetrates into the upper layers of the horn, conferring a major increase in strength as it dries to an attractive shiny finish. As it seals the hoof against the passage of moisture, it should not be used continually.
Application
Keratex Hoof Shield is applied by brush directly from the container, onto a clean dry hoof.
